Why do you write these recaps?
Because I haven't found any that I like (the only ones I found aren't detailed enough to my taste) and it's fun to do.

So they're like TWoP recaps, right?
Pretty much, yeah, except that:
- I'm not getting paid to write them.
- I don't deliberately try to be funny. I may say some things from time to time that make you smile, but it's just stuff that went through my head when I watched the episode.
- I like the show and find it to be, most of the time, good, which cannot be said for most TWoP shows.

How long does it take you to write a recap?
A few hours, depending on how much I like/dislike the episode and how often I've seen it.

How do you write them?
If I've already seen the episode, I just play it and hit pause every ten or fifteen seconds and write down what just happened, adding personal comments/questions here and there when I think about them. Then I post them in private in my LJ to read them and edit them/make sure I didn't screw up an LJ tag/they're not too boring to read, and post them to the community in two parts because LJ doesn't allow me to post all of it at once.

Are you going to recap all the episodes? And in which order?
That's the plan, yes. I've started with the season 2 finale and premiere because I love them, and now I'm in the process of doing the rest of season 2. After that, I'll probably do season 3, then I'll recap the new episodes of season 5 and, after that, either season 1 or 4. I may skip an episode here or there if I really dislike it, though.

Why do you love Craig so much?
In part because I find Jake Epstein very cute, but I must also admit I'm a sucker for boys in pain, and between being orphaned, being physically abused and being bipolar, Craig has more than enough going for him to make me fall hard.

But how can you not hate him? He's a cheating bastard and a piece of crap who got Manny pregnant!
The pregnancy part wasn't something he did deliberately but a mistake, albeit a big one, whose responsibility he shares with Manny and that he stepped up to when the time came, even if you don't like the way he did. The cheating part I was/am angry at him for, but IMO he's just a kid who made a big mistake and apologized for it. I figure if Ashley can forgive him, so can I, and it's not like I still hate Spinner, Manny, Ashley, Paige and others for the mistakes they made.

Why do you keep making comments about Craig and Sean being in love? They're just friends, and they're not gay.
That's a joke. I like the idea of them being together even though I know it will never happen, just as you could like the idea of Paige and Craig being together, and in the episodes I first recapped they're very close to each other, hence the joking about it.

Are these recaps posted anywhere else?
Yes, you can find them at the Livejournal community Degrassi Recaps. They're posted there first; this website is just an archive.

Are there spoilers in these recaps?
Depends on what you call spoilers. They're of course very spoilery for the episodes recapped, since I explain everything that happens in them in detail. For episodes from seasons 1 to 4, I may also reference storylines that aren't part of the episode, or even of the season. But, until Season 5 airs in The US, I won't mention any storyline from those new episodes ni 'old' episodes recaps, and the episodes from season 5 won't have any spoiler for future episodes either.
